Protein Porridge

This easy to make quinoa breakfast is not limited to winter. It may be enjoyed cold throughout sumer. My tip is to get creative and try a few variations. 
 
Ingredients: serves 1
1/3 - 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
1 cups of water
20g-30g vanilla protein powder
1 diced pear
Cinnamon
Coconut cream/ coconut yogurt
Coconut flakes
 
Instructions
Add quinoa flakes and water to a small saucepan, bring to boil
Add pear, protein powder and dash of cinnamon
Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stiring occasionally
Serve topped with coconut flakes and a little coconut cream/ coconut yogurt 
 
Variations...
You may replace pear with apple, berries or your choice of  seasonal fruit
A mixture of seeds and nuts may replace or accompany the coconut flakes
